Over a century ago when Belfast was one of the great industrial cities of the world, specialising in industries such as ship building, linen, ropes and trains, eleven of its citizens envisaged a quiet haven where they could meet, converse and take pleasure in good food and wine.Unlike many other clubs around the world that are housed within domestic residences or commercial premises, 4 Royal Avenue was built with the sole purpose of accommodating the Ulster Reform Club.
