Since the Ulster Museum closed for refurbishment 8 exhibitions appeared in venues all over Northern Ireland. A major art exhibition Treasures from the North: Irish Paintings from the Ulster Museum was displayed in the National Gallery of Ireland. Venues in Northern Ireland included, Newry Museum Carrickfergus Museum, Armagh County Museum, Hillsborough Castle, The Irish Linen Centre and Lisburn Museum, Fermanagh County Museum, Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh, Springhill House Costume Gallery, Moneymore, Down County Museum, Cregagh Library, Belfast and Lisburn City Libraries.
